Registering for Zoom


1) Open zoom from the start menu (if you do not have this listed on1) Go to


2) Click on "SIGN UP, IT'S FREE" in the top right corner of the page.


3) Enter your date of birth, this is to confirm you over 18 as per the terms & conditions of Zoom.


4) Enter your school email address, this will be in the format of below:


Horton Kirby –

Holy Trinity - 

Rosherville – 

Shorne – 

St Botolph’s – 

St George’s – 

Stone St Mary’s – 

Sutton at Hone – 


5) No go to your emails and look for an email from Zoom that has a subject of "Please activate your zoom account" and click on the activate account link contained in it.


6) You will then be taken to a web page asking you if you are signing up on behalf of a school, click on "Yes" and the Continue.


7) You will now be asked for some more information, please complete this ensuring that you are using the same email address as you entered in step 4. You need to accept all of the agreements, before clicking continue.


8) You will now be asked to set a password, this must meet the following requirements:

Have at least 8 characters

Have at least 1 letter (a, b, c...)

Have at least 1 number (1, 2, 3...)

Include both Upper case and Lower case characters


9) On the invite colleagues page, click on "I'm not a robot" and then "Skip this step"


You have now completed the registration process.

2) Sign in using your details


3) Click on "Schedule"


4) Complete the details including the topic, start date & time, now click on schedule. You may want to enabble video for the host & participants.


5) Once you have clicked on schedule a outlook window will appear where you can enter the email address of those who you would like to join, and then click on send.



You can also copy the web address from the email and paste that into any other area that you need to such as google classrooms.
